What are your responsibilities?
Assist the general manager for the group’s wine selection
Responsible for the promotion and upsell the beverage menu
Provide wine recommendation and advice to the guests for wine pairing with food menu
Provide update information of wine trends and news for internal front-line staff
Conduct training programs for restaurant staff in order to improve overall wine service
What skills/ qualification will you need?
At least 5+ years related experience in French restaurant or hotel
Sommelier and/or culinary qualifications
Candidates with extensive knowledge of French culture and wine is a MUST
Bilingual in English and French is a MUST
Who would be suitable for the position?
Team player, hardworking, good interpersonal & excellent organizational skills
Strong communication, guest service and training skills are essential
