The firm specializes in a diverse range of matters, including but not limited to:

  • · Advise and represent clients on a wide range of private client matters, including estate planning, asset protection, wealth management, and inheritance issues.

  • · Provide strategic advice on tax planning, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax implications for private clients.

  • · Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents to ensure clients' wishes are accurately reflected and their assets are protected.

  • · Assist clients in the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and administering trusts.

  • · Advise on the establishment and administration of family offices, charitable foundations, and other philanthropic structures.

  • · Handle complex and high-value trust and estate disputes, including contested wills, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and contentious probate matters.

  • As a senior member of the team, your responsibility will also include:

  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as accountants, financial advisors, and investment managers, to provide holistic and integrated solutions to clients.

  • Actively engage in business development activities to expand the firm's private client practice, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities and cultivating relationships with existing clients.

  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to raise the firm's profile in the private client sector.

  • Attending industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build connections and promote the firm's expertise.

  • Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to clients.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing personalized and tailored legal services.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique needs and goals, and providing practical and effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 10 pqe.

  • A strong background in private client matters, gained at a reputable law firm.

  • Solid experience in advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex private client issues.

  • Demonstrated ability in business development, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.

  • Client-focused approach and ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
