What are your responsibilities?

  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters including the implementation of global policies, regulatory issues,discrimination, and data privacy matters

  • Hands on in leading a case whilst mentoring junior team members

  • Liaise with other departments and international teams in cross- border, cross- department matters

  • Represents the employment team in working with the M&A team and advising on the employment aspects

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in employment legislations globally

What Skills/ qualification will you need?

  • 4-7 pqe, HK qualified

  • Exposures with high profile international matters

  • Must be fluent in English and Chinese (particularly Mandarin)

Who would be suitable for the position?

  • Someone who likes the challenges of working with international conglomerates

  • A team player is a must, as the employment department works with different departments in all of its matters

  • Someone with an entrepreneur mindset and able to think on its feet

  • Relationship building personality
