Operation & Maintenance Officer (IT)

What are your responsibilities?

• Provide technical support to end users.

• Responsible for hardware and software installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Monitor the integrity and security of the network and infrastructure.

• Work closely with application vendors and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) to address any      production-related issues, develop solution proposals, and implement appropriate remedial measures.

• Responsible for the operational and technical support for various financial information systems, including      stock/trading systems and back-office systems.

• Facilitate the execution of trading system rollouts, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures.

What skills/ qualification will you need?

• Bachelor degree holder in Computer Science or relevant discipline.

• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably with financial institution background.

• Familiar with the Hong Kong / China securities or futures transaction / business, as well as Bloomberg and other applications.

• Experience in supporting MSSQL, MYSQL, Windows, Linux and Networking, but not limited to installation and SQL coding.

• Familiar with the deployment and installation of Web, Java base platforms.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua.
