What are your responsibilities?

• Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy for the plush toys division, aligned with the overall company objectives.

• Lead and manage a team responsible for plush toys manufacturing, including production planning, process optimization, and quality control.

• Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from sourcing raw      materials to final product assembly, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product      development, design, and sourcing, to ensure seamless integration and efficient manufacturing of plush toys.

• Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles, to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and  manufacturers, ensuring reliable and high-quality supply chain management.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing performance, productivity, quality, and cost.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing effectiveness.

• Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and manufacturing trends to drive innovation and stay competitive in the plush toys manufacturing industry.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.

What skills/ qualification will you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in plush toys manufacturing, including significant experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of plush toys manufacturing processes, including material sourcing, production planning, assembly, and quality control.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute manufacturing strategies, drive operational excellence, and deliver results in a competitive market.

• Excellent understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and quality management systems.

• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
