What are your responsibilities?

  • Fulfill the role of the primary point of contact for billing and collection matters, establishing and nurturing robust relationships with matter partners and fee earners.

  • Conduct regular assessments to discuss work-in-progress (WIP) and accounts receivable balances, effectively propelling performance across the organization.

  • Uphold service level agreements and adhere rigorously to the governance framework to ensure precise and reliable billing.

  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting updates to esteemed stakeholders including the Group Finance Director, Partners, fee earners, Revenue Manager, and Head of Financial Operations.

  • Possess extensive expertise in significant WIP and debt balances at both Partner and office levels, meticulously reporting on and analyzing their influential effects on short and long-term financial objectives.

  • Notify Partners promptly about delinquent accounts while offering expert counsel on resolving such matters.

  • Assume a pivotal role in the management and support of credit controllers to actively contribute to the firm's cash targets.

  • Diligently monitor missing timesheets and expeditiously address any incorrect time recording behavior to ensure accurate records.

  • Maintain unwavering commitment to meeting all billing deadlines consistently while proactively supporting the Revenue Manager in this realm.

  • Skillfully oversee Ebilling clients, ensuring the punctual submission of invoices through relevant Ebilling portals as and when required.

What skills/qualification will you need?

  • 2-4 years of experience within a law firm would be ideal for this role.

  • Prior experience with 3E and EBillingHub software.

  • Familiarity with Elite Enterprise software is ideal.
