What are your responsibilities?
Analyze Business Requirement Documents: Review and analyze business requirement documents to identify technical solutions, considering databases, applications, business processes, and system implications. Collaborate with IT Architects for consultation
Liaise with Business Stakeholders: Communicate with key business stakeholders to provide expertise and seek clarification on business requirements. Act as a point of contact for gathering and documenting requirements for system enhancements
Provide Technical Expertise: Offer specialist expertise on specification design criteria to developers and test analysts for all supported systems. Ensure that the solution design aligns with business requirements and is understood by technical development and test teams
Facilitate Meetings: Arrange and chair business and technical meetings when necessary to facilitate discussions and reach technical solution outcomes. Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders
Documentation and Review: Complete business requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications. Perform peer reviews and sign-off on business and technical software development life cycle (SDLC) deliverables for other team members
Support and Improvement: Assist with SDLC testing phases, including providing clarifications and responding to inquiries. Help with escalated production support issues and conduct root cause analysis. Proactively identify and implement improvements to team processes and procedures
What skills/ qualification will you need?
1+ years in IT, software development or technical analysis experience
Candidates with product knowledge in Insurance, MPF or Pension are highly desirable
Working knowledge and application of SQL
Working knowledge of MS office products
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Sound understanding of IT application and system design best practice
